Character Background and Description Ciara is the only child of a single mother, Adriana Edrine, who spawned Ciara herself. Adriana never really fell in love with anyone even though she was courted many times during her youth, but wanted a child anyway so she decided to create Ciara on her own. Ciara has a very close relationship with her mother. She always lets her mother know where, when, and what she is doing at all times, they always eat together, and she is very open with her feelings with her. Ciara is otherwise very closed off from other people, including classmates, teachers, and coworkers. She takes most things very seriously and doesn't have much of a sense of humor. Recently her mother became very ill, preventing her from working. Ciara took it upon herself to get a job at a general store under one of the canals up in the city in order to help support her mother. The extra work combined with school is beginning to overwork her, and her classmates are becoming concerned, but she isn't being open with them about her situation.
